New gear day!

I'm currently on the road with the guys, and we're rocking out to the hair metal xm radio station as we drive into the big city to spend our gift cards. The boys are golf town bound, and I'm headed to lulu! It's a pretty big day, considering my last five or six sport shirts came in race packages, and my favorite running tights were last year's Christmas gift! Not only am I pretty excited to get some new gear, but our awesome road trip also involved a stop at Starbucks, my first latte in a whole week! The sun is warming up my legs as I stretch out in the back seat of the van, and I'm feeling pretty fantastic after my mini duathlom at the Y yesterday. This vacation was just what I needed. I'm having the best time with family and friends, playing board games and working out whenever I feel like it. I've mostly been doing p90x workouts, but yesterday I got the pool schedule and a few day passes, so I'm looking forward to doing some laps this week, as well as taking advantage of the bikes and elliptical machines again. And tomorrow the girls and I are doing an aquafit class! It really is the most wonderful time of the year. I live almost 3000 kilometers away from family & my hometown, which means that although I don't visit very often, it's always extra awesome when I am able to come home for a while.

So, lulu! What do you think I should get - new running tights? Some base layers?

Have a happy Tuesday friends!!

  3. oh lulu, I love thee SO MUCH. I've been trying to find ways to wear my 'Wunder Under' tights in my day-to-day activities, and always wear them while running now.

I snuck in on Monday and found a SALE - I didn't think they even had sales! It was a nice post-Christmas treat for myself. :)
