One year ago today

I did my first race ever, the Run for Retina in London! I ran the 10k and I absolutely loved it. I could feel something new starting as I pounded the familiar riverfront paths: it was the birth of an addiction.

I also had the best number ever.

One year later, I'm wishing I could have been in London doing the half marathon. If wishes were races, I'd be set. Instead, I sent my good luck vibes across the rainy countryside this morning to the folks I know who ran in this year's race.

I can't believe it's been a year since this happy day!
